The ''Valley Roadrunner'' is a weekly newspaper published in Valley Center, California serving Valley Center, Palomar Mountain, Pauma Valley, Pala, and North Escondido, California. The newspaper was founded by Derek Van Quackenbush in 1974. The Valley Roadrunner is owned by Roadrunner Publications. The newspaper also publishes a free quarterly magazine, entitled the ''Valley Center Magazine'', delivered to Valley Center and surrounding communities.
